Even his party has coordinated with Polda Metro Jaya to prevent stockpiling practice.

"It also cuts the speculators who are stockpiling, especially for rice, meat, sugar, eggs, as it is a matter of perception as well," he expressed.

At the same time, Jakarta Economy Bureau Head, Sri Haryati added, until now, the stock of food is still safe. Imported meat for instance, its stock has reached 500 tons. Seeing this, 200-250 cows are imported every two weeks from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

"The need per day is still sufficient, so the stock of food is safe it is still safe for the food stocks. These are all in safe condition," he closed.
